Experienced Investment Banking Associate Position

We are seeking an experienced, talented and self-motivated Associate interested in becoming a key contributor on our tight-knit team. The position requires initiative and a commitment to exceptional client service, while offering front line exposure to deals that is beyond what Associates often gain in this business.

Because of our structure, the successful candidate will enjoy hands on responsibility for tasks critically important to our business, including:

• find and pitch new business,

• research new and prospective clients and their competitors and prospective buyers,

• build/edit proposal documents and PowerPoint presentations,

• identify and contact prospective partners on behalf of our clients,

• manage action items and due diligence requests,

• perform financial analyses and build spreadsheet models.

The work we do is exciting and demanding. The rewards for success are high, but the costs of missed opportunities are even higher. Thus, we need an experienced employee that shares a passion for excellence and uncompromised integrity.

Other key attributes of the successful candidate include:

• 2-5 years experience in technology investment banking or software corporate development

• A keen understanding of the software and/or Internet industry,

• Capabilities in financial accounting and modeling,

• Familiarity with all key stock market metrics,

• Skills in both verbal and written communication

• High energy and positive inter-personal qualities

• Expertise in Microsoft Office applications

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and performance; however, we match expenses with revenues as best as reasonably possible. Thus, we have a philosophy of moderate monthly salaries but with a significant bonus potential based on company success and individual contribution. Although a small firm, we have a very attractive health and benefits package.
